George W. Bush Library to Honor Veterans and Families

DALLAS (11/5/14) – The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum will honor military members and their families again this Veterans Day by offering free admission to all active duty, retirees, veterans, Reservists, National Guard and Coast Guard members as well as their families.

“Veterans Day is such an important occasion for us to show our true appreciation to the men and women that have and are serving our nation,” said director Alan Lowe. “We are proud that we are able to join in recognizing our brave men and women and we are especially proud that we will also be able to thank the families who serve alongside their service member.”

Museum hours will follow the regular schedule of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Veterans Day, and military members and their families can ask for their tickets at the admissions desk. Free admission is available for one service member and up to five members of his or her family. This special offer is not available to those purchasing tickets online.

The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum - the 13th Presidential Library administered by the National Archives and Records Administration - is located on the campus of Southern Methodist University, a nationally-ranked private university located in the heart of Dallas.
