Enjoy the Spring Weather with Free Saturday Bluebonnet Tours
Scheduled through June 17, the George W. Bush Presidential Center again offers its tremendously popular, docent-guided Bluebonnet Tours.
Weather permitting, these free tours, offered every Saturday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., guide visitors through the one-mile network of walking trails. Space is limited and tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Along with the stunning bluebonnets, the
Native Texas Park on the grounds of the Bush Center features Blackland Prairie grasses, other seasonal wildflowers, tree-shaded lawns, and clearings providing native habitats for butterflies, birds, and other species,” said
Brig. Gen. Patrick X. Mordente, director of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. “This 15-acre urban park reflects the President and Mrs. Bush’s longstanding commitment to environmental conservation and restoration.”
