Guided Tours of the Native Texas Park

Dallas, TX (7/17/2015) – The George W. Bush Presidential Center will offer guided tours of the Native Texas Park in September and October. The 15-acre urban park is filled with Blackland Prairie grasses, seasonal wildflowers, birds, and butterflies among other native plantings and species. The landscape reflects the President and Mrs. Bush's commitment to environmental conservation and restoration.

The guided park tours are free and open to the public, however the dates and times vary and you must reserve tickets.

Participants should line up for tours at the fountain in Freedom Plaza, immediately in front of the Museum. Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking the park's network of trails. Please note that guided park tours are weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice in the event of inclement weather.

Brochures and scavenger hunt materials for self-guided tours of the Native Texas Park are available online.
